Your course This course has been designed for experienced business logistics, supply chain or procurement practitioners who want to enhance their skills and knowledge. This course will: • raise your awareness and appreciation of advanced logistics, procurement and supply chain practices, • develop your ability to critically select the tools and techniques that are most relevant to the challenges you face, • demonstrate how best to provide effective leadership throughout the supply chain life-cycle, • enable you to carry out independent and robust research that is relevant to your organisation, • enhance your knowledge and capability to manage and plan supply chains within an overall business environment in an integrated and coordinated way. Accreditation Our Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc (Executive) is accredited by both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. This ensures our course is relevant and informed by the latest industry thinking and developments. You may apply for full membership to these institutions upon successful completion of your course, providing significant benefit to your career and professional development. Cranfield School of Management is also the first UK-based University to gain the European Logistics Association accreditation. Upon completion of the course, you will be eligible to apply for the designation cESLOG (European logistician), which is valid for five years.

Course structure The course comprises of 13 modules delivered over eight intensive weeks, and includes a thesis project and an optional international study tour. Professor Richard Wilding OBE, Professor of Supply Chain Strategy Richard is recognised globally for his thought leadership in logistics and supply chain management. In recognition of his outstanding achievements he has been the recipient of many international awards for work in his field and received an OBE from the Queen in 2013. Supply chain risk is a key focus of his research within the context of an organisation’s overall supply chain strategy, enabling the creation of sustainable and resilient competitive advantage. Denyse is a highly experienced supply chain professional. She came to Cranfield from Nestlé, where she was responsible for implementation of best practice in materials handling and warehouse management throughout the Nestlé Asia, Africa and Oceania operations. Since joining Cranfield her work has embraced a range of sectors including food and beverage, defence and aerospace, covering a range of topics including waste reduction, improving operational efficiency, managing growth and suppliers. Dr Denyse Julien, Senior Lecturer, Course Director, full-time Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc and Procurement and Supply Chain Management MSc Dr Soroosh Sam Saghiri, Senior Lecturer, Course Director, part-time Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc (Executive) Soroosh is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy. He has been carrying out international teaching, research and consultancy projects in universities and companies for the last 19 years. These include supply chain planning and management, supplier evaluation and development, omni-channel retail, supply chain information management, supply chain decisions, production planning and control, and operations strategies.
