Our full-time graduate programmes in defence and security offer the highest standards of education and address the changing needs of an evolving sector. The modular structure of many of our courses offers students the flexibility to study at their own pace and exit with a Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Master’s (PgCert, PgDip, MSc) qualification, or simply to study an individual module. Defence Leadership MSc, PgDip, PgCert This course is designed primarily for those with some personal leadership experience in the defence or security arena, who are keen to expand their knowledge and understanding of leadership theory, and to improve their leadership practice. Successful students will have a broad appreciation of the variety of approaches to leadership, a critical understanding of the nature of their own leadership, be able to critically evaluate and lead successful organisational change, and develop leadership in others. Defence and Security Marketing PgCert This course is aimed at those working within the defence and security sector who are looking to expand their knowledge in the field of defence and security marketing. The course explores the ethics, legal ramifications, negotiating strategies, offset processes and strategic export trade control and compliance procedures required to make a positive impact on export performance. Information Capability Management MSc, PgDip, PgCert This course enables participants to understand the strategic importance of information and equips them with the skills to develop agile and effective ways to exploit it to its full potential by ensuring that the right information is available to the right people at the right time in an effective, efficient and secure manner. It is suitable for those in the military, civil service, government, police and other law enforcement agencies, industry and other organisations seeking to master the management of business and supporting systems. It opens up diverse career opportunities including business analysis, strategy development and implementation, organisational development, information management, information assurance, cyber security and strategic application of information systems.
