Hendrik has held academic positions in the UK, Germany and New Zealand. He holds an award-winning PhD from the University of Auckland as well as a Master's and Bachelor (Honours) in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Hendrik is known for his capability in warehousing, a specialised area characterised by complexities regarding design, equipment, operations and managerial implications.

Farooq has held management positions for more than 16 years in export-oriented organisations in the textiles and food and beverage sectors, and has worked with global brands such as Levi Strauss, Marks & Spencer, Nestlé and Unilever.

Dr Deshmukh holds a PhD in Maritime Affairs, an MSc in Maritime Logistics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Shipping Management. With nearly eight years of management experience in India's logistics sector, his research focuses on freight transport, maritime transport, and port logistics networks.

Ismail, holds a PhD in Logistics and an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Prior to joining Cranfield, he had more than seven years of teaching experience at German-Jordanian University and lectured at several institutions in Joran, Germany and Belgium.
