Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip

Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip The Cranfield Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) has been designed for employers who want to accelerate the development of their early-career professionals, develop their high-potential employees and/or provide a development opportunity for those later in their careers keen to pursue leadership roles, to build the organisation’s management and leadership pipeline and strategic leadership capability. Course details and structure The Cranfield Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip consists of 12 modules that are studied over a 15-month period through one week of teaching each quarter. During this time, students build their portfolio of work-based evidence with support from their employer and their Cranfield Apprenticeship Tutor. Students also have peer coaching alongside their studies. This concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), completed over a five-month period, which includes the student’s Strategic Business Proposal, supported by their employer. Following successful completion of the Cranfield Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip (Part 1), students have the option to progress onto the Management and Leadership MSc (Part 2), which involves a further six-month period of study and includes an additional compulsory module, research preparation and an organisation-based or relevant research project. It includes four executive coaching sessions. Delivered by Grant Thornton, the executive coaching facilitates development while on the programme and encourages managers to consider their role more broadly.
