Following the submission of the EPA, students have the option to progress onto the MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management, which involves a further six-month period of study and includes an additional module, Thesis for People Consultants. This gives students hands-on experience of researching or consulting on HRM related issues through investigating, reporting and presenting on a project of their own choice. Students who are not funded by the Apprenticeship Levy and are not apprentices undertake the MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management in 24 months. This involves completing the seven modules over an 18-month period and proceeding directly to the Thesis for People Consultants module in six months. They do not undertake the EPA and should contact the Course Director to discuss options for CIPD membership.
