Located in the Bedfordshire countryside between Bedford and Milton Keynes, our two venues, Mitchell Hall and the CMDC are the perfect venues to celebrate your special day. Venue Cranfield has over 30 years’ experience hosting weddings. With a dedicated planner, every aspect of your special day will be looked after by our team here at Cranfield.

Wedding packages are available to fit all styles and budgets. The packages are intended as a guide and we are happy to consider any changes you would like to make. Venue Cranfield prides itself on the versatility to meet customers’ needs and expectations.

Mitchell Hall

Your wedding will be our only priority, and we never run two weddings on the same day, ensuring the focus is on you.

The ceremony and reception room Mitchell Hall has two licensed civil ceremony rooms which seat up to 110 guests. Just a few steps from the ceremony room is our most popular reception room, the Blenheim Suite which holds up to 160 guests for your wedding breakfast and 200 for your evening reception. Our lounge area offers a fully-stocked bar, opening out onto our garden and patio area for those summer days and warm evenings. Accommodation There are 60 en-suite rooms at Mitchell Hall with a further 186 executive rooms available in the hotel next door. With free onsite parking and preferential

room rates for your guests, the party doesn’t have to finish early. Included in all packages at Mitchell Hall is the bridal suite for the happy couple to enjoy, you can even organise a private breakfast in the bridal suite for the following morning. Catering Food and drink are one of the most important aspects of any wedding. Our head chef has put great thought into the wedding breakfast menus which are tailored to every taste and budget. Our chefs will work with you to create a menu that suits your needs. With a variety of options available for the evening buffet, or for the warmer evenings, why not try a hog roast or barbeque.

Modern luxury in the heart of the countryside CMDC The CMDC offers a modern environment

to celebrate your day. You will have access to a large, fully licenced bar area, and a restaurant seating up

to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and 200 guests for an evening function alongside a landscaped

garden area with outdoor seating.

Food and entertainment We understand that the food is an important part of your special day, which is why we have a team of experienced chefs on hand to deliver the perfect menu. Our in-house catering team use the freshest ingredients and are happy to create a bespoke menu to suit your needs or you can choose from our set wedding menus. As with many couples you may like additional guests to join you for your evening celebrations. We can provide a more traditional evening buffet or if you prefer a hog roast or barbeque in our private garden area. Accommodation Your guests can stay overnight and enjoy our facilities, there are 186 en-suite bedrooms, a swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre.
