Senior Business Leaders Programme

The Shaping our Future programme enabled Cranfield and Morgan Sindall to identify key areas of development for the business’s future senior leaders that would prepare them to step up and drive the organisation’s strategic priorities forwards when the time came. The decision was made to together develop a customised programme of learning specifically for those employees considered to be potential leaders of the future. A total of 20 colleagues from across the regions were selected to take part in the 12-month Senior Business Leaders Programme. The programme combined taught modules on topics including developing effective business strategy, finance, change leadership, the macro-economic climate, leading change and stakeholder management with workshops and a ‘think tank’ day with senior people from industry. As part of the programme, participants were tasked with undertaking a project considered critical to the business that was then presented to the executive team at a capstone event to mark the end of the programme.
